A furniture delivery should reach the final room
Getting a large table to the building entrance is not the same as getting it into place. An apartment lift, corridor turn or house side passage can control which handling method is possible. We assess the complete route so the scope connects collection, transport and final positioning.
Send clear item photographs, dimensions and known weight along with the destination layout. Include any manufacturer handling instructions and information about separate tops, bases or other components.
Stone tables, substantial furniture and pianos
Marble and concrete furniture need support appropriate to their construction, as well as equipment that suits the weight. A separate top may still have fragile edges or joints. Provide details of fixings and assembly rather than assume it can be tilted or dismantled.
For a piano or another substantial piece, tell us the make or type and show its shape clearly. The assessment considers clearances, restraint and placement as part of the full movement.
Apartment and house access on the Gold Coast
For an apartment enquiry, provide the clear lift-door opening, cabin dimensions and the load information supplied by management. Include the route from the loading bay to the lift and from the lift to the final room. For a house, show gates, steps, slopes and narrow turns.
A large lift cabin does not guarantee that a piece can turn through its door or out into the corridor. All parts of the route need to be considered together.
Seller collection and exact placement
If the piece is coming from a retailer or private seller, send collection conditions and loading arrangements. Tell us whether it is packaged and whether assembly or component separation is required. Include any deadline imposed by the seller.
Show the final position and orientation at delivery, particularly where the top and base must be aligned. Your quote should state the agreed handling, transport and placement rather than leave the last stage unclear.
Gold Coast towers, homes and receiving spaces
For Southport, Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise apartments, record the route from the booked unloading position through the service lift to the final room. Confirm the protected furniture dimensions as well as the lift door and car dimensions. A large table fitting inside the lift does not establish that it can turn through the tenancy entrance.
For a Robina or Burleigh Heads home, include outdoor gates, exterior steps and the intended room where these affect the route. If a commercial furnishing is going into a café or managed venue, identify trading hours and the person who approves final placement. What if my marble table does not fit in the apartment lift?
Send dimensions and construction details for the table, the lift-door opening, cabin and corridor turns. Include stair access and photographs of the final room. The team can assess whether a practical internal route or alternative access exists. A balcony lift needs its own feasibility and permission assessment rather than being assumed available whenever the lift is too small.
Can you move a concrete or terrazzo dining table?
Send the complete item dimensions, known weight and construction details for the top and base. Include close-ups of fixings and any maker’s instructions. The team can assess support, separation where appropriate, transport and placement. Stone construction can introduce fragile edges or joints, so lifting capacity alone does not explain a suitable handling method for the table.
Can you deliver a heavy piece from a retailer?
Provide the seller’s collection details, deadline, product specifications and loading arrangements. Identify what packaging or assembly the seller supplies. Include the delivery property’s route and final position as well. The quote can then address the whole task, rather than a simple collection that leaves stairs, lift access or final assembly unresolved at the destination.
Can you position a heavy table precisely after delivery?
Provide photographs of the room and specify the orientation, clearances and any separate base placement. The team can assess final positioning as part of the quote. If the furniture or room layout changes, tell us before the move. A defined final position helps the handling plan address the last stage rather than end at the doorway.
